Jakub has returned!!!1

What?

adminer is by far one of my favorite pieces of free software. If you don't know it, it replaces all your database managers (like phpMyAdmin, pgAdmin etc.) with a single php file.

The old stuff

It has been developed by Jakub Vrána until the beginning of 2021. After that, development kind of suddenly stopped and he said it'd be unlikely he'd pick it up again.

Obviously, there have been some (kind of unsuccessful) forks been made. Haven't used them that much.

AND NOW, suddenly

Just recently, I've done my regular arch update (arch btw) and I just saw one line rushing across my screen; I've just read this one word: adminer.

Quite shocked (yes, actually), I wondered if I'd installed one of those nasty forks again. Well, that wasn't the case. Adminer is back alive again since last month!

I haven't seen a statement made by Vrána yet, apparently he really is just a pure, fun-motivated developer, which I really admire (pun intended).

I really don't think other people are as excited as I am, I've just wanted to share this little piece of open-source news.
